ETIQUETTE



As a member of Pace Health Club and NUSPA, we ask that you adhere to our code of conduct, to ensure maximum etiquette in and around the health club.

Opening Hours

  • Our opening times can be viewed on our website at www.pacehealthclubstansted.co.uk, we will notify you as soon as possible of any changes or disruptions to this.

Personal Safety/ Medical 

  • You must not take part in physical exercise if you have been deemed medically unfit to do so.
  • You must only use equipment that you are competent to use, please read all instructions prior to use. If you are still unsure, please ask a member of our team.
  • Please take care at all times when using any of our facilities or fitness equipment.
  • In the interest of safety and hygiene, no glassware is allowed in any of our facilities.
  • Emergency exits are only to be used in case of a fire.
  • No pets except guide dogs are allowed.

Personal Belongings/ Lost Property

  • Please use the lockers provided to store personal belongings.
  • Do not leave your belongings unattended.
  • It is forbidden to use mobile phones in the changing room.
  • If you use a smartphone during your workout, do not leave it unattended.
  • Appropriate training clothes and shoes must be worn whilst exercising.
  • Swimsuits must be worn at all times when using the pool and wet areas.
  • If you find any property that does not belong to you, please hand in to a member of the team.

Behaviour

  • We accept no responsibility for injury, damage or theft to any person or persons property whilst attending the gym.
  • You must conduct yourself in a well-mannered fashion at all times.
  • Bad language and profanity is not to be used in any of our facilities.
  • You must not, under any circumstances, abuse the facilities, equipment, or any staff members/other members.
  • You will be charged for any deliberate damage to Pace Health Club or NUSPA property, and this may result in your contract being terminated.
  • Follow the gym etiquette at all times. 

Complaints

  • If you have any other queries or wish to make a complaint, you are invited to speak to a member of the management team in the first instance.  

Gym Etiquette

  • Please bring your own towel.
  • Please wipe down the equipment after use.
  • Allow other members to use the equipment between sets and whilst resting.
  • Please wear appropriate training wear.
  • Please avoid wearing loose chains and earrings, for your own and other peoples safety.
  • Please replace weights after use.
  • Please lock and belongings in the lockers provided.
  • No abusive language will be tolerated.
  • Place any litter in the bins provided.
